Paramount Theatre tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a concert experience that’s as much about the vibe as the music? The Paramount Theatre in Oakland is where history and entertainment collide in the coolest way possible. This place isn’t just a pretty face; it’s a legendary venue with a story that goes back to 1931, filled with stunning art deco details that make you feel like you stepped back in time. I mean, I’ve seen everything from big-name acts like Norah Jones to jazz legends just chilling on stage. And if you’re into the whole experience, the interactive seating chart is a lifesaver, trust me, nobody wants to be stuck in the nosebleeds when you could be right up front for a show-stopping moment. Want VIP treatment? The Bald and the Beautiful section is pretty sweet, but there are also budget-friendly options if you're just in it for the music. The theater’s also super involved with the community, hosting everything from the Oakland Music Gala to local school events that make it more than just a concert hall. Getting there is a breeze too, especially if you’re coming from the Bay Area, just hop off at the Transbay Terminal and follow the signs downtown. Honestly, if you’re after a night out that mixes history, killer acoustics, and a lively crowd, the Paramount should be your go-to spot. It’s a true Oakland treasure and a perfect backdrop for making memories.
